It really motivates me to start something creative without having anything planned in my mind. Just sitting in the studio and trying something new from scratch. It’s a great process, even if the track sounds terrible the next morning.

I collaborate frequently with Mark Hennson, Mert Can, Alp Ateşoğlu, konur and MAUD. They’re great producers. Everyone has different approaches to electronic music. I learn new techniques in every session with each of them.

I know that it’s really, really difficult to ever say “it’s done.” I’ve been there. My rule is that I listen to the track first thing in the morning before listening to anything else. If it hits, then it’s done.

Back in the day (I mean like 10 years ago) I could never finish a track because I was always thinking it wasn’t good enough, especially the mix. I realized that’s not good a thing to do. You’ll have many more projects, don’t overthink. Just finish and release.

I’ve been cooking up some soft, sensual Afro house tracks, particularly in French. I really like them. I might even come up with a new alias for them.
